I prefer facebook because i am having full knowledge about facebook.I have never tried for twitter.
Twitter is catching up and more and more people are actually using twitter, following famous people and to learn more. Facebook has more activity. I guess both are alright, have their own pros and cons.
I don't you social networking as much, but I think I use facebook more than I use twitter. I just find that there are more things to do ova there.
facebook is great for non spammy friend type communication, absolutely useless for good marketing...
Twitter is spam paradise, and better for pure marketing but still rubbish in my eyes.
I will go with Facebook because I am not on Twitter and I know Facebook is the best.

But if you have a lot of nice graphic information - you'd better show everything you have there with Facebook. Facebook supports all types of posts - videos, pictures, texts of course...You can also make polls there. So if you want to be more engaged with your users you'd better opt for facebook.
