On your site, I recommend you having a keyword density of 1%. Make sure your page is readable.
Follow up with consistent backlinks to your site. The key is variety so make sure you get a good mixture of wikis, edus, blog comments, social bookmarks, ect.

Google algorithm is changing day by day. need to do strong SEO by using Google SEO guideline in both for on page as well as off page.
Penguin is for spammy links & Panda is for quality content.
