Google Say's - Forget mobile first, now it's HTTPS first. Google announced last night that they will be indexing HTTPS by default from now on. That means GoogleBot will start crawling HTTPS equivalents of HTTP pages, even when the former are not linked to from any page.

What has mobile got to do with https/http ?

Google said that https version of a webpage will now show by default in search results if they are available. This is for improving web security.
It has nothing to do with crawling or mobile or anything as such.

Google is Indexing Https when it is available to increase web security . Google never says Forget mobile it,s still very Important to rank well in Mobile Search.
