Link baiting is the process of creating and circulating an interesting newsworthy topic keeping SEO writing techniques in mind and posting it on popular social media channels. For example you write something controversial, run a newsworthy topic etc so that it acts as a bait and encourages people to link to it automatically without you having to plead for the same.

 Hi everyone,

Link bait is content on your site to which other sites link because they want to, not because you ask them to. Link-baiting a technique or a side-effect of good article writing. The content is usually sensational in nature or, at the very least, interesting enough to catch other's attention.

Thanks a lot

Natural links are easier to get than you think. One way is blogging about current events in the world. Using current events make link baiting a lot easier. You can get a lot of exposure being one of the first to blog about a specific topic in the world especially in your industry.

Hi all,

Linkbait is basically an attraction that guides people to link to your site. It's something to share that will grab people's attention, and make them feel like sharing it with others. It can be a piece of breaking news, a funny picture.

Thanks a lot

Link baiting is about writing content in a website, which arouses the interest and curiosity of others. It is such a content which other sites love to link because they feel that it should be linked and not because you are asking them to link it. Link bait helps SEO in many ways mainly by link building. Link bait helps to get more links to your website and it increases the chance of your website getting indexed by search engines.

I agree with all statements, link baiting is one of the best way to attract backlinks. Always think creatively, meaning, you can write how to articles related to your field, make how to videos, create images that are similar to info-graph (pinterest is good to pin to it), also, link baiting doesn't just have to be on your website, it can be anywhere that is worth it to share your content (youtube etc)

Linkbait is essentially a piece of content placed on a web page - whether it's an article, blog post, picture, or any other section of cyberspace - that is designed for the specific intention of gathering links from as many different sources as possible.

With the rise of the blogosphere, meritocracy and social bookmarking sites, all it takes is one interesting page on a site, someone to notice the page, and a few people to share the link - and before you know it, you've accrued a large number of links across a wide variety of sites.

Link baiting is the practice of crafting content that is designed to get other content producers to link to it. The purpose is increasing the number of inbound links to your content and thus improving its performance in search engine results. The most important element of link baiting is creating compelling content, somethign that the reader finds value in. Examples of link bait, in this context, include breaking news, striking images, infographics, humor, educational material and applications. If your content has value for readers, they are likely to share the link.

Many experts consider link baiting to be a spammy and manipulative practice that can lead to a website's devaluation by search engines. It's often criticized for creating low-quality content that is designed solely to attract links, rather than providing value to users.

Some common examples of link baiting include:

Creating a provocative title or headline that is designed to spark controversy or debate
Using sensational language or making outlandish claims to grab attention
Creating a "top 10" list or a "best of" article that is designed to attract links
Using social media to promote the content and encourage sharing
