Title: WYSIWYG - You Like?
Post by: joeemslie on 06-04-2010, 04:01:58
To make my website I use a free piece of software called "NVU" it is a WYSIWYG

What is NVU:

Nvu (pronounced N-view, for a "new view") is a complete Web Authoring System that combines web file management and easy-to-use WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) web page editing. Nvu is designed to be extremely easy to use, making it ideal for non-technical computer users who want to create an attractive, professional-looking web site without needing to know HTML or web coding.

From the description you can see you need no coding experience, now this may not be great in the long run, but for a busy person like me, i really don't have time to learn HTML coding just yet and through NVU it does it for you.

Do other people use WYSIWYG on here or are you all fully fledged coders?

Joe

NVU is quality, I started using it 3 years ago, 100% free to use and a very clean and usable piece of kit.... Not as good as dreamweaver IMHO but it's free so you can't really compare.
