3) Relevant Forum posting: Find forums in your website niche and create do follow signatures to your website, this will create some traffic as well as SEO for your site.

According to me, Article submission, forum posting with signatures and classified ad posting is good way and also good for link building strategies.
All the techniques of seo like forum , blogs , social bookmarking , directory submission and all other be helpful for getting backlinks. But one should have concentrate on getting the quality backlinks instead of quantity backlinks. As by submission on high pr and on quality sites with providing the relevant and meaningful content, one can get the quality backlinks to the site.
