Only Once If you did more than once it'll impact -vely for your site. Or else you can post it By giving credits to that original one If they accept to republish.

I really doubt any of the digital marketer would be using the same content more than one. Using the same content and again will lead to content duplication and your website can also get penalized by the Google update. Also you can't spin the content and use this low content for further submission.
If you want to increase the ranking and traffic of the website and reach to your target audience, you are required to write quality of content.And not using it more than once.
Instead of using the same content again and again, you can promote the content published in social media sites.
You can post single blog in multiple places. Therefore, you should follow Google's guide lines.
Many popular bloggers submit own article in multiple places, but also they declare as a guest post (Blog Re-Post) and mention it through Canonical.

Generally we should submit an article/blog only one time as according to Google's guidelines but in reality we don't do. So, if you want to submit an article/blog on multiple websites then write the source content in the end. Otherwise your site can be penalized by Google. It would be a good idea.
There is no any particular count that we should follow but yes always refer different sites and unique content on other URL and keywords. Generally we can post 2-3 articles for quality backlinks because SEO wants quality not quantity.
We can post original content at one place. However, we can use same content as a reference with a original content URL but also one condition is that the copy content website has high domain authority so google trust on it.
From my experience, I wrote a content, post it to my site --> Share on social media. That is all I do. For seo post in forums, other sites, we only write a short post with similar content to the Original post. I put source link at the end of SEO post.
Republish original content can not help boosting google ranking in my opinion.

There's no any magic formula of how many times or places that you can post articles. It depends on your quality of your content then maybe many site's admin will re-post your articles and you will get many traffic.
Do not get hung up on the number of posts your should make, but instead focus on the quality of the post. One post per month can bring in more traffic than one per day. Research, quality of the content and marketing should be the true hours for each post, not just writing filler copy.

If you post same article again and again it will consider as duplicate content
Each article that you write should only be submitted one time to each directory, but you can submit that same article to as many directories as you like.
