Why Link Building only calculates popularity of a Website? and Interms of What, Helpful to a website in How many ways? :'( :(
I think people need to change the way they are thinking about linkbuilding lately... One way to get online success with your website is just to spread great content, the more great content you got, the faster you link build, because people are going to share your page, why would you put effort in spreading links? if you can share just great content. Your value of your website goes up, it's a win-win.
I can understand if you are a starter and you just got a new website or a webshop and you don't have any visitors, and your not in the TOP 100 in the SERP's, then it's more likely you start with linkbuilding slowly, like you spread the word and you go to relative fora and don't just spam fora with a link, just go there and talk about stuff you really care. Now i know people think like... mhhh it will cost me a lot of time, it happened to me. But don't forget, you don't want to go quick quick quick, if you have thrust in your information and you know you have a great business with a lot of potential, jus't spread the word on the fora :)
