Smoking can have numerous harmful side effects, including an increased risk of cancer, heart disease, respiratory issues, and premature aging.
Quitting smoking is an important step toward improving health. If you struggle, I can suggest considering these strategies:

- set a quit date
- consider nicotine replacement therapy or medications to manage cravings (I used Chantix from the Canadian Pharmacy site and it really fastened the process)
- find healthy coping mechanisms and distractions (I played mobile games instead of going out to smoke).

Of course, quitting is not easy, but if you really want it, you will succeed for sure. Your body will get used to living without nicotine, and you will be happy to get rid of this habit.

Beyond lungs, smoking affects the heart and blood vessels, raising blood pressure and cholesterol levels, which can lead to atherosclerosis and peripheral artery disease.
Other side effects: premature aging of skin, osteoporosis, and potential for eye problems like cataracts.
