Well, my answer is going to annoy a lot of participants in this thread but I've never really gotten along with Google Adwords tool too well.
We will need to understand a very important concept here.
There's a BIG difference between "keywords" and "markets".
To find markets you need to know what people search for and buy. This is what we call "customer groups". This is the first step and keywords come after that.
A lot of people get it backwards and pick keywords first...and wind up at #1 but can't make any money.
This is a done-that-been-there case. All the tools (GKW) gives you the list of keywords and not groups which is why I can't really depend on any of them...
I would have attached a screenshot but somehow it isnt appearing as clear as I'd like it to be. I'd paste my results here for a quick comparison:
