"frankdevine" - half of the things you wrote got nothing to do with increasing ROI.

"alvinpcook" - it really depands on your selling/website structure and method,  sometimes presell landing page can be the right thing todo (as long as it built right) somtimes it too unnecessary  and annoying.
the right answer can be givven only after seeing your website and the product(s) you sell.
