Title: Onpage SEO Technique
Post by: fariddunmasud on 12-13-2013, 00:29:49
After Humming birds update google has been changed some onpage technique......I am going to explain it shortly

Title: Title should be unique, related with keyword and page content. Irrelevant topic can not be used on title. Also same title can not use on several page.

Meta content: Meta content should be related to page content but main keywrd can not use here. LSI keyword or related keyword can be use. other wise it will be over optimize and google will send the website to sand box..i mean the site will be blacklisted.

Header tag: Header tag is very important. Google crawler always sense it. It must be main keyword or almost same keyword.

Content: 2 to 3% keyword density is allowed by google. Google says it looks good and google crawler can sense keyword easily. Remember it can not be more than 3 % otherwise google will give it penalty.

I have used only 1% keyword density and got good results. Too much stuffing of keywords can also harm the site. keyword in contents must be used in natural way.

On-page SEO techniques are strategies and best practices that website owners can implement directly on their web pages to improve their search engine ranking and visibility. Here are some key on-page SEO techniques:

1. Keyword optimization: Use relevant keywords in the title tag, headers, meta descriptions, and throughout the content. Ensure that the keywords are naturally incorporated and not overused.

2. Quality content: Create high-quality, valuable, and original content that addresses the needs and interests of your target audience. Content should be well-structured, easy to read, and provide comprehensive information on the topic.

3. Meta tags optimization: Write compelling and relevant meta titles and descriptions that accurately represent the content of the page and encourage users to click through to your website from search results.

4. URL structure: Create user-friendly and SEO-friendly URLs that are descriptive and include targeted keywords related to the page's content.

5. Internal linking: Link related pages within your website to provide a better user experience and help search engines understand the structure and hierarchy of your content.

6. Image optimization: Optimize images by using descriptive file names and alt tags to help search engines understand the content of the images and improve accessibility for visually impaired users.

7. Page speed optimization: Ensure that your website loads quickly by optimizing images, leveraging browser caching, and using a content delivery network (CDN) to improve user experience and search engine rankings.

8. Mobile-friendliness: Ensure that your website is responsive and provides a seamless user experience on all devices, as mobile-friendliness is a crucial factor in search engine rankings.

9. Schema markup: Implement structured data using schema markup to provide search engines with additional context about your content. This can enhance the appearance of your listings in search results with rich snippets, which can improve click-through rates.

10. Content formatting: Use proper heading tags (H1, H2, H3, etc.) to structure your content logically and make it easier for both users and search engines to understand the hierarchy of information on the page.

11. Page titles and meta descriptions: Craft unique and compelling titles and meta descriptions for each page, ensuring that they accurately reflect the content and entice users to click through from search results.

12. User engagement signals: Create engaging, shareable content that encourages users to spend more time on your site, interact with your content, and share it on social media platforms. This can positively impact your search engine rankings.

13. Outbound links: Include relevant outbound links to authoritative and reputable sources to provide additional value to your readers and signal to search engines that your content is well-researched and trustworthy.

14. Canonical tags: Implement canonical tags to indicate the preferred version of similar or duplicate content, helping search engines understand which page should be prioritized in their index.

15. SEO-friendly navigation: Design an intuitive and well-organized website navigation structure that makes it easy for users and search engine crawlers to find and access all the important pages on your site.

16. User experience optimization: Prioritize user experience by ensuring easy navigation, clear calls to action, fast page load times, and mobile responsiveness. A positive user experience can lead to higher engagement and lower bounce rates, which are important ranking factors.

17. Voice search optimization: With the increasing use of voice assistants, optimize your content for voice search queries by using natural language, answering common questions concisely, and structuring your content to address long-tail, conversational keywords.

18. Long-form content: Consider creating in-depth, comprehensive content that thoroughly covers a topic. Long-form content provides value to users and signals expertise to search engines, potentially improving rankings for relevant queries.

19. Content freshness: Regularly update and refresh your content to ensure it remains relevant, accurate, and up-to-date. Search engines may favor fresh content, especially for topics that require current information.

20. Social media integration: Integrate social sharing buttons and encourage social engagement with your content. While social signals may not have a direct impact on rankings, increased social visibility can lead to more traffic and potential backlinks.

21. Secure website (HTTPS): Ensure that your website is served over a secure HTTPS connection. Secure websites are favored by search engines, and HTTPS is now a confirmed ranking factor.

22. Local SEO optimization: If your business targets local customers, optimize your on-page content for local keywords, include local business schema markup, and ensure consistent NAP (name, address, phone number) information across your website.

23. Video optimization: If you use videos on your website, optimize them for search engines by using descriptive titles, tags, and transcripts. Video content can enhance engagement and provide opportunities for ranking in video search results.

24. Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP): Implement AMP to create fast-loading, stripped-down versions of your web pages for mobile users. AMP can improve mobile user experience and potentially lead to higher visibility in mobile search results.

25. Content silos: Organize your website content into thematic silos or clusters, grouping related topics together. This helps search engines understand the context and relevance of your content, potentially improving rankings for related queries.

26. Social meta tags: Utilize Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags to control how your content appears when shared on social media platforms. Optimizing social meta tags can improve the appearance of your content when shared, leading to increased click-through rates.

27. Pagination optimization: If your website uses paginated content, ensure that search engines can crawl, index, and understand the structure of paginated series. Implement rel=prev and rel=next tags to help search engines consolidate the indexing properties of the component pages.

28. Breadcrumbs navigation: Implement breadcrumb navigation to provide clear internal linking paths and hierarchical structure, making it easier for users and search engines to understand the relationship between pages on your website.

29. XML sitemap optimization: Create and maintain an XML sitemap that accurately represents the structure of your website and includes priority and update frequency information for each page. This can help search engines crawl and index your content more efficiently.

By incorporating these advanced on-page SEO techniques into your website optimization strategy, you can further enhance the visibility, relevance, and user experience of your website, ultimately boosting its performance in search engine rankings and attracting more organic traffic.

Your Search Phrases should be emphasized in a natural way for both the visitor and the search engine spider. Do not "Keyword Stuff" your web page, by repeating the search phrase over and over again in your webpage. This will often result in a Search Engine "Penalty" and move your sites ranking Lower in the results.

I don't think so this was the status after Hummingbird!
Because even before the Hummingbird comes, these were into the practice!!
Hummingbird is mostly about semantic search that could increase user-experience!
