I dont think so. Google is still showing result with description more than 115 characters and title more than 55 character.
I agree with you only on title tag. For Description it is still accepting about 150 characters. So I don't think there is much change in that list.

Google crawls websites once in a while, often a matter of days rather than hours. If you don't want to wait then use GSC (Google Search Console) and manually ask Google to update your page.
Usually after submitting your page to Google you will see an update within 5 to 40 minutes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
Another issue you may want to pay attention to is that Google recently often ignores the manually set meta description. This is when the snippet from the page that Google deemed most relevant appears in the search results. Therefore, it is worth checking on occasion what the last scan date of the subpage was.
Google truncates dynamically based on pixel width, not just characters. Good SEOs focus on intent, CTR, and SERP snippet relevance, not counting letters like interns.
If your title tag, schema, and content architecture are strong, a few extra characters won't kill rankings.
