Honestly, relying on social networks for traffic can feel like a wild goose chase most of the time. Take Facebook, for instance. You spend hours fine-tuning your ad targeting, only to end up with inflated CPCs and engagement that barely translates into conversions. It's all vanity metrics—likes and shares—but where's the real ROI? Twitter is another beast; the traffic is fleeting and low-intent, great for buzz but terrible for actual lead generation.

And don't even get me started on Instagram. Unless you're in the e-commerce or influencer space, it's a nightmare. You may get followers, but their user journey to your site is a mess, with clunky bio links and third-party apps. TikTok has potential, sure, but its algorithm is so unpredictable that it's like trying to rank on Google without understanding SEO at all. It's high-risk, high-reward, but mostly, you're left with bounce rates that make you question why you even bothered. Social networks are like PPC on steroids—burn through your budget fast with questionable results. You're better off investing in SEO, building authority, and gaining organic traffic that actually sticks.
