It is a form of Paid Advertising where you only have to pay for clicks and not for the impressions. A certain amount(bid) will be charged from you each time your ad is clicked.

Pay per click (PPC) advertising is a way to get your ads displayed at the top of search engine inquiries quickly. With PPC advertising, you can control when and where your ads appear as well as the maximum cost you're willing to spend for each click.. ;)

PPC (Pay Per Click) is a very popular online advertising method. Here, when a specific ad is clicked by a user/visitor the ad provider pays a certain amount to the website owner. This is a verified method. But beware of those fraud companies which declare to pay a huge amount for PPC.

PPC stands for "pay per click". Pay per Click is an advertising model where businesses pay an agreed upon amount, each time their advertisement is "clicked", not each time their ad is displayed.

Websites that utilize PPC ads will display an advertisement when a keyword query matches an advertiser's keyword list, or when a content site displays relevant content. Such advertisements are called sponsored links or sponsored ads, and appear adjacent to, above, or beneath organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a web developer chooses on a content site.

PPC (pay per click)
PPC is an Internet advertising model used to direct traffic to websites, where advertisers pay the website owner. Content sites commonly charge a fixed price per click. PPC "display" advertisements, also known as "banner" ads, are shown on web sites or search engine results with related content that have agreed to show ads.

If you place the highest bid for a specific keyword or set of keywords, then you rank number one in these paid listings. Every major search engine now displays these paid ads above and to the right side of their 'organic' rankings. If someone clicks on your PPC listing, they arrive at your website. And you are charged the amount you bid. So, if you bid £0.75 per click on 'widgets', and that's the highest bid, you'll show up first in line. If 100 people click on your PPC listing, then the search engine or PPC service will charge you £75.00.

PPC is stands for pay per click, it is paid service. If you want to show your products online you can take any service such as Google Adwords , Adcenter and other ppc plans such as facebook etc.

Google Adwords is better in these ppc schemes because Google is biggest search engine which generate more traffic in comparison to others. In Adwords you can get more features to control your ads.

You can use adcenter also  because there is no more competition in comparison to adwords.
