The systems development life cycle (SDLC), is the life cycle of software development for use in systems engineering and software engineering process to create or modify systems and models and methods, to develop people to those systems.

Requirement Analysis
Feasibility Analysis
Design
Testing
Implementation
Maintenence

SDLC, Software Development Life Cycle is a process used by software industry to design, develop and test high-quality software.
SDLC is a process followed for a software project, within a software organisation. It consists of a detailed plan describing how to develop, maintain, replace and alter or enhance the specific software. The life cycle defines a methodology for improving the quality of software and the overall development process.

SDLC stands for software development lifecycle. A software development lifecycle is essentially a series of steps, or phases, that provide a model for the development and lifecycle management of an application or piece of software.
