Hi guys i wanted to know that what is the anchor text in backlinks can you illustrate a small example,

like when im leaving a link in some forum do we have to use anchor text or just simply leave our normal URL? im confused
The link you leave will seem like incomplete detail for other users visiting the forum. If you use anchor text instead of just placing links, they will come to know what exactly you have shared. Better go for Anchor Text instead of URL.

Anchor text is a text that appears highlighted in a link that can be clicked to visit a new page, well everything is fine if your link (which may or may not have anchor text) is placed in related article and clicked or used by users.

Anchor text is a label of link and Google has recently announced that it will reduce its dependence on anchor text until it has minimal effect.. The basic thing of a backlink is to get referral traffic from other website so, if you are getting traffic from your related website then you will get rank for sure.

Anchor text is the text used on your link for example "visit my website" or a keyword, but if you use it continuously without changing the form of your link then you probably will hit by search engines anti spam rules.

Anchor Text is a hyperlink which is interlinked or linked to another webpage using a text or keyword.

Make sure that you don't overoptimize the anchor text.

Backlinks should be directed toward the specific page that is most relevant to the term you are trying to rank for.

Anchor text does matter, I believe, but it is hard to say how much and if it will always continue to matter. Studies that I've read showed correlation between anchor text and rank although that doesn't necessarily mean anchor text was the cause. Most importantly, you should ensure that you're creating a wide link profile from a number of sites and that they aren't all using the exact same anchor text which can appear spammy.

Clickable text in a hyperlink is called anchor text. The words inside the anchor text are said to be one of the factors influencing website ranking in the search engine results pages.

Anchor text is a clickable hyperlink in the site, it helps to users reach from one site to another site directly. it is an On-page SEO technique, it effective way for increasing traffic on your site.
use your primary keyword for anchor text then after adding your link in the keyword.
if we talk about the forum, you should add a hyperlink in your main keywords as a forum signature.

Backlink is a link from one website to another, and anchor text is the clickable text that's associated with that link. In other words, it's the text that's highlighted in blue and underlined, inviting users to click on it.
Here's an example: let's say you're leaving a comment on a forum about the best coffee shops in New York City, and you want to link to your own blog post about the top 5 coffee shops in Manhattan. Instead of just leaving the plain URL, like https://myblog.com/coffee-shops-nyc, you could use anchor text like "Best Coffee Shops in Manhattan" to make it more descriptive and enticing.

Now, why is anchor text important? Well, from an SEO perspective, it helps search engines like Google understand the context and relevance of the link. It's like giving them a hint about what your content is about. And, let's be real, it also makes your link look more appealing to users, increasing the chances of them clicking on it.

But, here's the thing: you don't always need to use anchor text. If you're just leaving a quick comment or a simple URL, that's fine too. However, if you want to maximize the SEO benefits and make your link more attractive, using anchor text is the way to go.
