While tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush are paid, there are also free alternatives that you can use as a beginner. One popular free tool is Google Keyword Planner, which provides keyword suggestions and data on search volume for those keywords. Another option is Ubersuggest, which offers keyword ideas, search volume, and other useful metrics. Additionally, you can try searching for long-tail keywords, which are more specific and often have lower competition.

When conducting keyword research, it's important to consider the relevance and search volume of the keywords you choose. Look for keywords with a high search volume and low competition, as these are more likely to drive traffic to your blog. It's also helpful to analyze the keywords your competitors are ranking for to gain insights and inspiration.

here are a few additional tips for keyword research:

1. Understand Your Target Audience: To find relevant keywords, it's important to understand your target audience's needs and interests. Consider what topics they might be searching for and how they would phrase their queries.

2. Use Google Autocomplete: When you start typing a search query in Google, it suggests popular searches related to what you're typing. Utilize this feature to get ideas for keywords that people are already searching for.

3. Explore Related Searches: At the bottom of search engine results pages (SERPs), you'll find a section called "People also ask" and "Related searches." These provide additional keyword ideas and can help you identify common queries in your niche.

4. Leverage Social Media: Look at social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to see what people are discussing in your niche. This can give you insights into trending topics and help you discover potential keywords.

5. Analyze Your Website Analytics: If you have an existing website, analyze your website analytics to see which search terms users are already using to find your site. This can give you valuable keyword ideas and understand what content is resonating with your audience.

6. Emphasize Long-Tail Keywords: Long-tail keywords are longer, more specific phrases that tend to have lower search volume but higher conversion rates. They can be easier to rank for and attract audiences that are more likely to convert into readers or customers.
