AJAX calls are loaded and placed on the page after the page is initially loaded, but it is usually very quick depending on the data being loaded and should be nearly unnoticeable  from the users.  This can also be used to make it harder for form submitting bots that read your code and then hit that page directly with their spam information.

JavaScript alone isn't necessarily good or bad for SEO, as the search engines pretty much ignore it.

Ajax and JavaScript can play a role in SEO by enhancing the user experience on a website. They can enable dynamic content loading and improve interactivity, making the website more engaging for visitors. This can result in longer page visits and increased user satisfaction, which are positive indicators for search engines.

However, it's important to note that search engine crawlers might not be able to fully understand or index content generated through Ajax or JavaScript. To ensure proper indexing, it is recommended to implement SEO-friendly techniques such as using server-side rendering or providing alternative HTML versions of Ajax- or JavaScript-generated content. This helps search engines accurately interpret and rank the website's content.

As for the impact of having more web pages on a website, it can vary depending on various factors. Generally, having more pages can provide additional opportunities for targeting specific keywords and expanding your website's visibility in search engine results. Each page can be optimized for different keywords, increasing the chances of attracting organic traffic.

Moreover, more web pages can also enhance the overall user experience by offering a comprehensive range of information. This can potentially increase the time users spend on the site and reduce bounce rates, both of which contribute positively to SEO.

Having more web pages on a website can also benefit SEO by increasing the overall visibility and authority of the site. Search engines consider the size and depth of a website when determining its relevance and authority for specific search queries.

A larger website with a diverse range of well-optimized pages can attract more backlinks from other websites, resulting in improved domain authority. Backlinks are an essential ranking factor that signals to search engines that the website is trustworthy and credible.

Additionally, having more pages allows for a greater opportunity to target long-tail keywords, which are more specific and often have lower competition. By creating content around these keywords, you can attract targeted traffic and potentially rank higher in search results.

However, it's important to note that simply increasing the number of pages without maintaining quality and relevance can have a negative impact on SEO. Each page should have unique, valuable content that provides value to users. Duplicate or low-quality content can lead to penalties from search engines and harm your website's rankings.

Having more web pages on a website can also positively impact SEO by increasing the chances of attracting backlinks to your site. Backlinks are links from other websites pointing to your site, and they are an important factor in search engine rankings.

With more pages, there is a higher likelihood that other websites will find your content relevant and valuable, leading them to link to your pages. These backlinks provide signals to search engines that your website is reputable and trustworthy, which can improve your overall search engine rankings.

Additionally, having more web pages can give you more opportunities to target long-tail keywords. Long-tail keywords are specific and less competitive phrases that users often search for. By creating more pages optimized for these long-tail keywords, you increase your chances of ranking higher in search engine results for those specific queries.

Furthermore, more web pages allow for better internal linking within your own site. Internal linking helps search engines discover and navigate through your website's pages, improving the overall crawlability and visibility of your content.

Ajax and Javascript are not search engine friendly components. Though, these things make you website more flexible in term of technology... but SEs are still struggling to crawl these things.
