Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum as well as to SEO (but I know the basics). I've looked up several videos on youtube so far and the common factor among all of them is good content. However, aren't there some keywords for which one doesn't necessarily need good content? For example, something like "mechanic jobs" or "delivery boy jobs", and so on. Another example would be something like, "join pdf" or "compress pdf". The top results for such searches don't have any content at all, rather, just webpages that list the jobs or webpages that provide the joining/compression service. Refer tothese:

(searched for "delivery boy jobs")
https://www.naukri.com/delivery-boy-jobs-in-andheri-east-mumbai

https://www.indeed.co.in/Delivery-Boy-jobs-in-Airoli,-Maharashtra

(searched for "join pdf")
http://pdfjoiner.com/

https://www.pdfjoin.com/

https://online2pdf.com/merge

The videos I've watched or the SEO tips I've read mostly focus on the strategy of creating good content by writing articles, getting others to contribute and link to them, and so on. My question is, what do sites as given in the above examples do to be so high in the rankings?

Of course, one obvious reason could be that they've been around for a long time and have the first mover advantage, but I'm curious whether there's any "growth hаck" SEO techniques that such sites use to be ranked highly.

Instead do focus on creating a content that helps solve your audience problem. Put yourself in their shoes, try to figure out the issue they might need answers for (you can do research here at Quora, various forums, or simply Google it), and then create a substantial, well-crafted content in response. Keep in mind that quality too, sometimes is better over quantity.

Once you've got yourself a good content then you can pay attention to improving the SEO elements within the piece. This can be done through various ways, such as building links, using a good URL, incorporating media, using proper keywords and tags, etc

Search engines like Google strive to provide the best user experience possible, with relevant, trustworthy, and valuable search results. However, Google isn't able to determine the quality of content on its own.
