Static in the sense, Facebook pages URL, Twitter Profile URL, and Profile page URLs with the target keyword remains static unless posts done by us is dynamic and Dynamic pages lists in SERP only if it has Search Volume. But Static Profile pages listed in SERP will be crawl soon and indexed by Google and other Popular search engine spiders. So finally SMO gives static results much better than SEO.

i prefer seo. smo is still important, but for actually SERP's, i don't see smo overtaking seo at this point. i think it's a factor in seo, but just one factor,
I think both have own advantage and importance and It is not alternative. If you want to success in the online marketing then you put right efforts on SEO and SMO because now a days condition very change.

Yes you are right Richard, The SEM is getting far away better results than the SEO, but its paid thing. And coming to SEO which is organic means its totally Free thing. The SEM is very demand because its consists ROI(Return on Investment). If we can invest some $10 on one add, definitely you may get 5 times on that i.e. $50. That's why many people should prefer to the SEM after done the SEO.
Equal weightage should be given to both SEO and SMO. Social platforms like Facebook, twitter, g+ are the source of huge traffic and marking your presence here would definitely favour. On the other hand SEO is a broader term, this isn't limited. SEO is the only way you can get your SERP's high. :o

I am agree with you but i think SMO show faster result as compared to SEO but it is for short time and on the other hand SEO show slower result but for long time..
