In my opinion, SEO services are not so expensive. If you have idea, SEO can be done free also, besides paid SEO (PPC and SEM). the difference between paid and unpaid SEO is that, in paid SEO we get results instantly. So, its upto you, which type of SEO suits your marketing budget.

Who said to you SEO services are expensive. SEO is not expensive but it takes few months to promote the business. You can do it yourself if you have little much knowledge of the SEO.

Title should be "Why are SEO services so inexpensive?"

SEO is cheap because it's easy to learn and easy to implement for one's website. There are lots of SEO experts and each one trying to grab a project at lower cost.
