trustrank checks the trust ratings of your site.. it does limit itself to checking backlinks, etc..

I have checked out the tool and whoever develop it has a great idea, but how is it can it be accurate according to Google's standards of their own PR since this is suppose to be a secret. I realize there is disclaimer saying such but I would be curious to know since we have a website with a PR of 2 but the rank checker has it at a PR of 5.5, which I find hard to believe.
Bravoman1, it's not PR checker, it's trustrank checker. Not the same thing.
Looking for thoughts on other items which impact trust rank:
1) What impact would an extended validation SSL certificate have?
2) I have heard a dedicated server makes a difference?

It's an interesting tool but what is it's actual purpose? Unless you know for certain that Google is considering exactly the same factors, how does it help to know what the TrustRank of a site is?

Other trust parameters as in?? I believe Google never leaked out what exactly they call trust on a website besides some links or social signals pointing to it. Is that what you are referring to or you have something more in your mind?

Of course we are using our parameters, not google's ones.
But I hope that they are very similar to characteristics, using by google. At least the most of them (not only backlinks and social signals) are well known (see videos and links on the service page).

seo quake is the best tool for checking the PR.
I wonder what algorithm they use to calculate this. Pagerank prediction tool predicts pretty right. Not for my mainpage but i think i know why google gave me 1 less.

Why this tool returns two different values (7.55 or 3.56)? Which of these values is more accurate?
The highest is more accurate.
Some of used IPs are blocked periodically, so tool uses (in this case) the lowest possible value.

RK, it depends on how SEs see your site.
To avoid this issue (to have the same rates for www. and without it) you should make (preferably at the beginning of a project) 301 redirect in the .htaccess file to the desirable address (www or without it),
and place necessary domain address in the google webmasters panel.
