Virtual outsourcing?

Hi, I was hoping to get some advice. I'm currently looking at getting my business's website properly optimised. I want to do it fairly intensively, but I really can't afford to take someone on full time. I've been looking at this company called SEO7k ( newbielink:http://seo7k.com [nonactive] ). I was approached by them about a sort of 'pay and play' deal where I can pay a set amount and one of their guys does a full days work on my site. It's definitely cheaper than hiring a normal contractor or bringing someone onto my own staff, but as it's all done online I was hoping to get a few opinions before I go ahead. I really don't know that much about SEO, so any help I can get would be appreciated.
