Which do you think is better for website promotion?
Facebook is of course more popular now, but Twitter is one of those sites that is "on-the-rise". I mean, 2 years ago at this time no one had any idea what the heck a 'tweet' was other than the noise a bird might make. Now it's the #11 site on the web by Alexa and its very possible it could get into the "top ten" within the next 6-12 months.
My vote for Facebook, as you said its a well know social networking site and people from all over the world are using it, that means more people, more traffic to our website..lol..
The trick for website promotion is to add lots of lots friends on your facebook fan page.....
To me twitter and facebook are two different applications. Facebook is a bit complicated because it offer so many options where else on the other hand twitter keeps it simple. Facebook is more about our past present and future where else Twitter is more about connecting with others. So we can say that Facebook and Twitter compliment each other very well but if i have to select any one of them it should be twitter.
I prefer Facebook !

Hi john
well i am new in viral marketing, For me facebook seems easy to work on but I dont get much of traffic from it and i have heard from many people twitter brings lots of traffic.
Can you tell me few trick and plans for better twitter marketing!
I was on Facebook first, but actually find it more annoying than useful. Twitter helps me get through the day, and gives me conversation with like minds (mostly other web pros) thousands of miles away. A real plus for me.
I get the feeling that Facebook and Myspace are head to head, with Twitter doing something different, and we may loose one of MySpace and Facebook, but we'll always have something like them, and something like Twitter.
Of course is Facebook
To say the truth i have a weakness to Facebook than twitter as Facebook seems to me easy in using. I have lot of friends in Facebook and have a good communication with them. I can easily create page to promote participation of any occasion, or to promote add of internet marketing. So, Facebook is the best to me.
For me its reverse, I do get traffic from Facebook compare to twitter. With the billion users of this social networking somehow it can drive traffic to your site.
Facebook is fine enough
Hello Everyone,
I think that they both are really good depends on want thing you looking for facebook is good for knowing people making friends and having really involved conversations and with highest traffic it is great for business promotion also on the other hand twitter is fun with easy and short messages in form of tweets. You can follow your favorites on it. So both are great.
I think both have their own place in sun. Both are equally capable of providing business promotion activities. Facebook gives much more visual promotion than twitter but twitter is more of a traffic driver. I suggest one must use both for promotion activities, subject available resources and expertise.
I think facebook won in this race and I always prefer to use because it one of the best platform to share something and people can use systems of online friends and team members to keep in touch with.
Hello everyone.
Twitter and facebook are very diferent in their aproach.
While in Twitter messages can be short, and work as recommendations to links on sites, your Twitter can be very usefull for mass comunicating, but you might want to use some Hootsuite to schedule some posts.
On Facebook you need more interaction, as people like to engage in debates, you must be ready for that, also on Facebook you might find more effective if you produce personalized images.
On facebook though, it is likely that your posts and content get advertisers from competition on the same page.
Both tools are very good in generating trafic and interest however they have diferent functions, which make them hard to compare. I recommend usually creating a Page in Facebook and an account in Twitter and sindicating your feed to both of them alike.
By using sindication you will guarantee that both users in FB and TT receive the updates, creating a double oportunity for your content to be viewed.
Hope I helped.
facebook is nofollow backlink... not for SEO
Twitter & every bookmark site is realy good for your site.. dofollow backlink - nice backlink in that.
I think that both, Twitter and Facebook are very popular social networks. Which one to choose to promote your products and services, it is a decision that depends only on you! And which one will be more useful depends on how you will manage your pages! As for me, I prefer to use Facebook, but also spens 5-10 minutes per day for Twitter.

Hello, you are right! I think that SMM it is the best solution for your business! Thanks for it, you can develop your audience and youe business! Also, try to use others networks as Pinterest, Linkedin, Blogging, Myspace!
I think the decision which social media site is better to use for website promotion depends on your customers. Twitter relies on conversation and it is a way for your customers to get to know you in a more personal and casual way! Most Twitter users are younger and enjoy connecting with people they do not know personally on a daily basis. Facebook is more of a broadcasting platform where you post your new blog posts, product shots, sales, surveys, etc. and Facebook users range from teenagers to grandmas.
I like Facebook. People live on it. I is easy for me to establish a relationship with my local customer base.
Actually, we can't call one of them to be best on the basis of comparison. Facebook marketing is in practice for a long time whereas Twitter is emerging. Right now, I am learning about the [https://socinator.com/general/best-twitter-automation-tools/]best Twitter automation tools, being my recent social media marketing strategy. Here, I found several facts that are sufficient to highlight Twitter marketing.

Facebook as well as Twitter Both are strong platform for earning traffic for your website as well as promotions.
Facebook lets you connect with family better, which may be its only killer feature. Twitter lets you connect with the world more efficiently, which is definitely its draw. Messenger is great for chats and things tangentially related to communication, but using dedicated apps is still more feature-rich.
While Facebook has a low performance on sales-leading advertising, nearly 40% of US-based social media users believe that Twitter promotion is the most effective. Nowadays, Twitter stands up for being the most trusted social network for online companies to promote their content.
Selecting Twitter or Facebook depends heavily on your target audience and marketing goals. Twitter excels in real-time engagement and brand awareness through trending topics; on the other hand, Facebook provides in-depth audience targeting with its various demographics, making it ideal for building customer relationships and advertising to specific demographics. Consider where and how your target audience engages with content before choosing between them; both platforms have unique strengths that should be balanced for an effective digital marketing campaign.
Facebook and Twitter are two distinct platforms in terms of content and technologies. Comparing them directly is inappropriate, although both networks were created for communication. Facebook has long surpassed Twitter in all aspects, establishing itself as a leader. Meanwhile, Twitter is still searching for its identity, struggling to define its unique features and purpose
Facebook is a dinosaur, a relic of the past. Twitter is the future, the present, and the now. I think Twitter is the perfect platform for promoting websites, especially those with a strong focus on news, trends, or entertainment. The hashtag system is a game-changer, allowing you to tap into existing conversations and reach a massive audience with minimal effort. Facebook, on the other hand, is just a tired old platform that's struggling to keep up.
