Sensis is a privately held, minority-owned and -operated multicultural interactive advertising agency based in downtown Los Angeles, California.
History
Sensis was originally founded by José Villa in 1998 as Focus Multimedia,[1] as a Web development firm. Villa began his career in management consulting with Mitchell Madison Group, later launching the Hispanic-focused Internet startup TuRumbo.com, before launching and growing Sensis into a full-service interactive agency.[2][3][4] In July 2008, Hispanic Business magazine's ranking of the Fastest Growing Hispanic-Owned Companies ranked Sensis No. 1 in California and No. 13 nationally.[5][6] Inc. magazine ranked Sensis No. 329 on its 2008 Inc. 500 list of America's fastest growing private companies. It ranked No. 21 in the top 100 businesses in the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana, California area, and placed No. 26 in the top 100 advertising and marketing companies listed on the Inc. 5,000 list.[7]
