Keyword Stuffing
« on: 06-04-2010, 04:52:15 »
SEO Masteringers,

This is a thread telling you about "keyword stuffing" and advising you not to do it, what is it well:

"Keyword stuffing is considered to be an unethical search engine optimization (SEO) technique. Keyword stuffing occurs when a web page is loaded with keywords in the meta tags or in content."

This is a quick blackhat method many people use to gain quick ranking, but I would advise against it.

This is just a small heads up to everyone who is overloading their website with keywords!

Joe

I can agree with you, but keyword stuffing works sometime.
And really there is no any penalty for such technique.

Unless someone reports you and Google checks it out, the keyword surfing will not be found out. However, if you try to hide the keywords from the eyes of the visitor (by putting it in the background for instance), Google will penalize you roughly for on-page black hat seo.

Hi,
Black hat technique no longer work to get rank in search engine. Keywords stuffing some time work but not longer, use standard keywords density in your website content.
Google like normal keywords density in your web page content ....!

i wouldn't bet on it. Maybe You do not have expirience with sites that where penalized by keyword stuffing but I did. I even recoverd some sites once I got to understand what the problem was. Not only that keyword stuffing on-page could be an major issue- Remember the meta keywords? As everybody including Google knows- They have no value in SEO but if you even try to stuff keywords there- You may have a problem afterall!

In high competetive nichs- I wouldn't bet that my competitors won't send the report. It just not worth it.

You can put some keywords in your content but you shouldn't spam it and make your content very credible for search engines.

Keyword stuffing makes your text often unreadable. Keyword stuffing often (really often) gets a page booted out of Google but it depends on the intent and the trust and authority of a site – and I’d think it would be diferent rules for different verticals (perhaps). Keyword stuffing is sloppy seo. Keyword stuffing is a bastian of useless seo companies.

Keyword stuffing is bad and there is algorithmic penalty for this.
Which means bots can discover unnecessary keyword placement.
