Mistakes in content cause indexing problem?
« on: 02-17-2014, 23:46:00 »
My website is not indexed by Google. It is live from one month now. I have rechecked the content of my website. It had some grammatical mistakes. I have corrected them. But I really wanted to know if grammatical mistakes and spelling mistakes in content have effects on indexing and ranking of the website?

1. Grammar mistakes won't lead to problems with indexing
2. Spelling/typo mistakes will affect your position in SERP (if you spell the keywords for SERP wrong - the rest is irrelevant)
3. Not beeing indexed:
your site is only 1 meth old's not which is already a good reason
a. how do you know it's not indexed?
b. was it crawled?
c. what did you to speed up the indexation?

Grammar mistakes won't lead to problems with indexing STRICTLY, but if the other options on your site will leave much to be desired, then Google will give an appropriate assessment for it and that`s why your page will not to get to the main index.

Did you add your site to Google webmaster tools?
Did you used the Google Add URL?
Have you a well-setted sitemap?
Did you implement your internal links?

After I added my site in GWMT, it indexed in a day.. So try it..Hope it will help..
P.S. in any case, do not use automaticall services

Hi,
If your content not unique and not fresh so may be indexing problem. I will suggest you can write new content for website fresh and unique. Its better for your website and ranking purpose also.
