Facebook fan page or group?

I use my groups , if I think that only 5k people will join. But if Im making something viral , then I create a fan page (or like page whatever) .

Groups are worth nothing after they reach 5000 members.

Fan pages are good to have but with groups you can start discussion boards and have a lot more flexability messaging the members in your group.

no but actually you see its a very good thing to advertise some thing like a movie or song people go to these pages for these things

Groups can never be boring if you do effective inter group interactions with your group members. You can also encourage others to pool in and make group page a good and valuable platform to interact with each other and to get updated on various different things.

I do everything with internet marketing with fan pages. now they have it so you can actually build a website in the fan page

But I think, if you have any any information or service and you want to share it, then fan-page is a nice option undoubtedly.
