Avoiding Fred algorithm's punishment
« on: 09-20-2017, 03:16:23 »
Google's only explanation about Fred algorithm is that "it targets websites that didn't pay attention to webmaster tools instruction".But what this algorithm really do is that targets websites with short or low quality contents. If you are worried about getting punished with this algorithm just do the steps below and you should be fine:

1-Take a look at your website's google analytics.See if your traffic decreased between 5th to 20th march. Then look if you lost ranking on keywords. If your answer to both question is no then you are fine. But if your answer to either one is yes then go to nest steps.

2-Divide your contents to high quality and up to date/low quality and old

3-Match keywords you lost ranking on with your low quality and old contents.

4-Update your low quality and low contents which you matched in step 3.You can do it by rewriting it or adding some new contents to old ones or even update pictures.

5-Delete all the spam links.Find them with tools that are available in the internet.

Fred also punish websites that used too many keywords in their contents or have too many advertising in their pages.None of your pages should be just for advertising. If there is,remove it.
I tried to to explain everything but if you have anything to add I would appreciated if you share it.
