Hi  :)

Some days ago a colleague of mine showed me the historical stats generated by the keyword planner when you search for keyword ideas only using the URL of the website. I found this explanation from Google Help about this data (https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/3022575?hl=en-GB):

When you search for keyword and ad group ideas or choose to get historical statistics like search volume for a list of keywords, you'll see a table with historical statistics. All of these statistics are specific to the location, date range and Search Network targeting settings that you select from the "Targeting" panel.

I still don't understand what are these stats showing and how they are generated. For historical data I use the Search Console, but things there are very different.

Please help me with this puzzling question. Also, if you could give me ideas how I could use this sort of data, this would be terrific.

Thank you!

As the term implies, keyword search volume refers to the volume (or number) of searches for a particular keyword in a given timeframe. Keyword search volume is typically averaged over a set timeframe to provide marketers with a general idea of a search term's competitiveness and overall volume

The Keyword Golden Ratio must be less than 0.25. The ratio is... The number of Google results that have the keyword phrase in the title divided by the local monthly search volume, where the LMS is less than 250. If the KGR is less than 0.25, then you should rank in the top 100 when your page is indexed.
