My site got hit in penguin 2.0

My site got hit for 2 keywords its an old site and has been on the first page of google for over 8 years.

One is my state (colorado)

other is (real estate)

All other pages come up in a search for other keywords.

If you search cities it comes up with out the real estate.

How can I recovered from this?

I removed about 50% of the links that said Colorado real estate, can't think of anything else to do.

Firstly you need to identify your bad baclinks, I mean your website backlinks on the poor or low quality website. Request their removal using wemaster tools. Moreover, add quality content to your website and don't SPAM.

Don't panic, it's possible that acceptors looked the keyword niche and made influence to search results.
First of all i recommend to do nothing. If the problem is not caused just by fluctuation positions will come back soon
If nothing changes in to say 1 month, then clear a bit bad links and look the results.
If nothing changes again, change the content aacording to opponents

If it is Penguine don't think you'll recover quick. Maybe it will be better to do new page instead of old...
