Google analytics is an online tool that helps to measure the traffic activity on your website. Inserting the analytics code in your website will help to detect the traffic and website bounce rate and improve your optimization in search engines.

Visit the Google Analytics website. Open google.com/analytics/ in your browser. Click the “Access Analytics” button at the top-right corner of the site. This will take you to a new page that shows a brief rundown of how Analytics works. Click the “Sign up” button to create your Analytics account.
You will need to sign in with your Google account if you are not already.
You can create a new Google account specifically for tracking your Analytics data if you want to keep it separate from your personal Google account.

Select between "Website" tracking. Use the buttons at the top of the page to switch between website tracking.

Enter your account information.

Select your data sharing options.

Create the account.

Visit the Google Tag Manager website.

Create an account .

To start setting up your goals:

    1. Go to your Google Analytics standard reports.
    2. Click on the “Admin” button in the top right.
    3. Click on “Goals”
    4. From one of the Goal sets, click “+ Goal” (goal sets are just a way for you to easily group goals) to set up a new goal.
