Before selecting the best  keyword for your website. you should Go through the following points.

1. Choose those keywords, which are related to your product and service. Through which user can easily find you.
2. Check the Global monthly search volume of those keywords and select the highly searchable keyword.

3. Check the General competition and SEO competition and select the keyword which is least competitive.

Before selecting the keyword its better to have some research about who are your audience ? what they need ? what product/service you providing ? And choose the keyword by how your audience looks for your products/services.

Check how many people are searching for the keyword you've chosen by looking at the monthly global searches. Of course, you have to know how heavy your competition/competitor is.

If the competition is high, look for another keyword that's very close to your choice.
