First of all, analyze your website and check what is the engaging factors on your site & what you missed to add on website. Also, find the USP of your site.
If you have a blog on your site, so always try to provide the knowledge to the visitors. If possible, add videos & PPT there.

Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visitors to a website. if you want visitors to convert by clicking through to another webpage we should start using something unique to the visitor. we can add read more or fill out the form in the website so that visitor must jump into second page automatically.

The visitor did not find the material he was looking for or the webpage was difficult to use that is why bounce rate increases.
1.) We should use right keywords to match content and not just attract the visitor
2.) Create multiple landing pages with unique content and keywords for difference type of visitor.
3.) Write useful attractive meta description for search engine.
4.) Most of all you should enhance the useability of the websites with unique and fresh content.

Please check is you have targeted right keywords on right pages? Is your meta is relevant with content of page & keywords?
Is Website speed is good? Is user can reach on listed product or services?

Just check these nominal but important points & decrease your bounce rate up to 30 to 40 percent.

High bounce rate in itself doesn't mean it is a bad site. I would think google looks to see if you continue your search, going back to the google search results and looking at more sites.I really doubt that bounce rate make a different on SERP.

Bounce rate will automatically decreases when you holds the visitor in your site for long. Provide only information which is need by the visitors. It should be unique from others website. Don't forget to update & maintain good quality of content on regular basis. This will definitely decreases Bounce rate.

If you want to decrease the bounce rate you need to focus on the "next step".
Make sure the user understands what to do next, make it interesting, compeling.
Many sites fail doing that, and thats why the user leaves.
