03. Competition of Keywords---Keyword competition is equally important. Here you should select a more competitive keywords where you will able to show your keywords top.

04. HTML---Use a content management service such as WordPress, Blogger or Drupal and optimize your HTML tags with the keywords.

05. Title---Keep the character count under 70 and preferably under 66. Use various plugins available for various content management platforms for SEO.

06. Content Size---As per Guidelines provide by Google, the length of your content must be more than 300 words.

07. Quality Content---Your content must be unique. Thinly copied contents are also getting Panda Hit nowadays so stay away from copy and plagiarism. Make sure you follow proper internal linking strategy without over optimizing anchor text.

I guess keyword selection comes under On Page optimization and building backlinks comes under Off Page optimization. You have missed some On page techniques such as Meta Tags, URL structure, Image optimization and XML sitemap.

Google Panda Update

Google Panda was first introduced in February 2011, and has had several smaller updates rolled out since that. Panda started the ball rolling on the content discussion, focusing on eliminating low-quality or thin sites in favor of those with in-depth, regularly updated content. Panda also tackled sites with too much advertising and poor navigation, when commercial gains were clearly prioritized over user experience. Since Panda, content marketing has increased in popularity with a focus on blogging, on-site content, building off-site content assets through practices like guest blogging, and social media participation.
