Private Content and SEO
« on: 03-22-2017, 11:11:42 »
Hi Folks,

I am administrating a website which is a classified. Turns out there are a lot of changes on its sitemap due Ads which are deleted by the users.

Since January we are putting deleted Ads in private in order to get less 404 Errors, the thing is, Google can´t find the Private Ad and it returns an error as well.

My question is: What is the best procedure in this case?
- Delete the AD and update the sitemap.
- Private the AD and redirect the Error.

I am using Yoast SEO.

Thank you!

In this case, i think it's better to add sitemap and remove the broken or dead URL's from your website  O0

Do you say remove the privete content and update my sitemap.

I have every week some ads to delete. Do you think this is the best routine to not hurt my SEO?

Private Blogs work wonders totally based on the niche.

If you promote a product on your site, attracting the right buyers works. So working on a strategy which involves the right keywords, design and the mindset of your audience will show you results in Traffic.

Social media can be a used with ease, once you identify your competitors and your audience.

Google has reportedly taken action on sites participating in private blog ... links within the network as a way to help particular content rank better in Google. ... but instead just to generate links mainly for SEO ranking purposes.
