Does duplicate content within a single page affect SEO?

Duplicate content generally refers to substantive blocks of content within or across domains that either completely match other content or are appreciably similar. Mostly, this is not deceptive in origin. So you should know that duplicate content is something not good, even within your site itself

One all page for whole website - no it would not. But when you've got a lot of pages like that you will be pessimised or might even get banned.

This can hurt the ranking of a webpage. But a search engine has to pick which one to show in the search results, as it doesn't want to show the same content twice.
