« on: 08-20-2010, 00:49:05 »
Keyword stuffing is considered to be unethical & unprofessional Search Engine Optimization approach. Now, what exactly does Keyword Stuffing mean? Keyword Stuffing is a technique used by Webmasters to stuff or fill web pages with irrelevant keywords & phrases. The main purpose for doing this is just to make web page look more prominent for better search engine rankings.
Leading search engines like Google, Yahoo & Bing (MSN), basically do not support keyword-stuffing practices. Most search engines prohibit implementation of these techniques. Moreover, Search engines also tend to remove such Websites from their Indexes.
Effective Ways to avoid Keyword Stuffing:
    * Share Links of your websites with those who are into same business & fall into your target market.
    * Submit your Website’s links on various Directories, available online.
    * Bookmark your website contents on Social Bookmaking sites.
    * Make full use of Social Networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Orkut, Reddit, Myspace, Digg etc. to name a few.
    * Search for industry related Forums & actively take part in Forums discussions.
    * Replace your frequently used Keywords with their synonyms/alterations.

WebPages are often filled with repetitive usage of keywords, this is called keyword stuffing. Repeating your keywords in an unnatural way is not good for your users and often results in a lower - not higher, ranking in Google.

Keyword stuffing is known as an unethical search engine optimization technique that involves adding an excessive amount of keywords into the HTML or tags of a webpage to bring more traffic to a website. While considered obsolete and outdated, there are still websites that attempt to use this technique and end up being blacklisted or banned from search engines.

Thank you for sharing these useful tips!
Keyword stuffing is now considered a strictly black hat strategy.
Google keyword stuffing is a dangerous game, and isn't likely to get more safe anytime soon.
Google dislikes black hat SEO strategies like SEO keyword stuffing because those methods focus on beating the search engine algorithm rather than a great user experience.

Thanks for sharing this list of tips for avoiding keyword stuffing. I would like to add that keyword stuffing is considered an unethical practice because what you actually do is the keyword in question throughout the text suspiciously often.

Modern day search engines have the potential to figure out overuse of a word to increase the keyword frequency on a page. They also have the power to review a page for keyword stuffing, and identify whether the frequency is above a normal level. So, while creating your site, don't forget not to stuff keywords or else you run the possibility of getting banned.

So, instead of stuffing your content with a lot of keywords, balance your articles with your keyword usage. It's okay to use your keywords once or twice on each of your paragraphs as long as they sound natural on your content. For very best outcomes, I suggest that you place your keywords on the first and last lines of your paragraphs so search robots can easily find them.
