Yahoo Site Explorer dropped 3,000 backlinks

Hi,

I have today dropped on Google and also noticed that when using the Yahoo Site Explorer the number of backlinks has dropped from 7,000 to about 3,500.

What is going on? Google update but also affets Yahoo?

Forget using yahoo site explorer.. instead get a paid membership of open site explorer, it is more friendly and helpful than yahoo site explorer. If you can't afford it then you can use backlinkwatch, linkdiagnosis etc to analyze backlinks.

May be the reason of tied up with Yahoo to Microsoft (BING) so they are referring and following their policy.
