FavBackup is a free Windows application to back up and restore web browser bookmarks, history, extensions, passwords, preferences and other important data.
As of today, it supports Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari and Flock web browsers.
FavBackup was rated 9/10 by Softonic describing it as "special recognition to software of exceptionally high quality" [1]

FavBackup project began back in July, 2009 as a simple utility to quickly backup web browser data. More than a month after development, the very first FavBackup version was released on June 29, 2009. Although software was easy to use, it had only basic features and lacked different profiles support. [2]

On September 30, 2009, FavBrowser released FavBackup 2.0. This version includes Microsoft Ribbon user interface, keyboard shortcuts, different user layouts, portable web browsers support, custom profile locations and multiple profiles support. Furthermore, the following release introduced Flock and Opera 10 browsers support as well as various performance improvements. [3]
