Social media does not directly contribute to SEO ranking, but the links you share across social platforms increase brand exposure. They add up and influence search engine optimization in six directions: Extensive content distribution. Longer lifespan of your posts.

Hi,

Both have different ways to get traffic and improvement. Social media marketing only will grow on same platform won't improve ranking in search engines.

Increase brand recognition.

Your shares across social media sites have no place in SEO rankings. Still, when more people share your content throughout social media, it generates social signals that indicate your posts are useful to your target market.

Let's not get too carried away with the social media hype. While social media can drive traffic and engagement, its impact on SEO is often overstated. Correlation does not imply causation, and just because you see a spike in social media engagement, it doesn't mean your website's SEO will magically improve.
Focus on creating high-quality, keyword-optimized content, and use social media as a secondary channel to promote your brand.

Social networks can indirectly improve SEO by boosting visibility, driving traffic, and increasing engagement. While social media signals like likes and shares do not directly affect search engine rankings, they help create more opportunities for content to be seen, shared, and linked to, which can positively impact SEO. Social platforms also allow businesses to promote content, attract backlinks, and engage with a wider audience, all of which contribute to better search rankings. In essence, social networks support SEO by enhancing brand exposure and driving organic traffic to websites.
