Editing wordpress categories

I have add too many categories.
But I do not know how to edit those category names.

My questions:
Where to rename and delete category names?

If you delete a category, all the posts in that category will be put under Uncategorized.

If you have that category page indexed, then you need a 301 permanent redirect to another category or your home page so you don't loose visitors and the search engines know it's moved.

Just click on the category name , and edit it. Its just that simple.
