HTML (hypertext markup language) is a mark up language. We use it to mark up or wrap text or contents and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a styling language, we use it to styling text or contents.

The purpose of CSS is to provide web developer more control over page layout and display than what html offers. With html alone there are various coding tricks that are used to achieve desired page layout but main problem is that it don't work same with all the browser. So to over come these problem CSS standards are defined which is more predictable and reliable.

Use CSS to define styles for your dоcuments, including the design, layout and variations in display for different devices and screen sizes. You can place your CSS in the <head> of a dоcument with an embedded style sheet, or attach a separate file that defines your styles with an external style sheet.

Gadsubone

Use CSS to define styles for your dоcuments, including the design. you use HTML to describe the content of the dоcument.Ya its very true i agree that previous comments.

CSS is an extremely powerful style sheet language which is used to control the look and feel of the content written in HTML. So what does this mean? It means that if we have a website element, let's say a "title", and we want to make the text size "20px", the color "black", and the padding around it "10px", we would use CSS to control the look of our element.

it is very simple HTML has a limitation on designing page with the help of Css you can design your page as you want
so that is the reason why css is used with html

We use CSS because it is an extremely powerful style sheet language which is used to control the look and feel written in HTML.  CCS also provides efficiency in design and updates. Its use can lead to faster page downloads and most importantly it is easy to work with.

HTML is just the bare bones, the raw structure of a webpage, but without CSS, it's like a site stuck in the '90s - plain and ugly. CSS brings the bling with styling, layouts, and responsiveness, turnin' a dull markup into a slick, user-friendly interface. It's all about flexin' those design skills to customize fonts, colors, and spacing, while keepin' the code clean and modular.
Without CSS, you're basically shippin' a half-baked product, and no client wants that mess. It's the glue that ties the visual vibe to the backend grind, makin' sure the site pops on any device.
