Directories Links Problem

I have submitted my website to almost 500 directories with Reciprocal Link but only 40 to 50 links approved. what's the problem can anyone tell me?

It takes some time to get listed in directories - sometimes up to 1 year. Take DMOZ for example.

I also face a similar problem. I have submitted 400- 500 directories in last 6 months and very few of them have been approved.

All sites will not approve immediately, takes time to put your site in their site, patience is very important for SEO link building.

Definitely dear, it takes long time to approve some are instant approve your link. You should wait for it.

If you submitted your site to free directories, you are that guaranteed to be still listed

Directory submission is good for backlink but it take some time. I have submitted my site link in more directory site but it approved up to one month.
