    In order for your website to be accessible by your visitors on the Internet, you need to host it with a webhost, i-e a company that has web servers connected to the internet 24x7.     Those servers can be dedicated to a specific site ("dedicated servers" - which is expensive) or shared between several clients and web sites (which is much more affordable). This is called "shared web hosting". All offers on this page are shared hosting.

    Our hosting selection

    The drawback of shared hosting is that if the hosting company shares too few servers between too many clients, then your site could become dramatically slow. This can be acceptable to some level if your primary concern is price (see our cheap hosting page). However, studies have shown that if your home page takes more than 10 seconds to load, visitors will start to abandon your site. On this top 10, we restricted our selection to companies capable of delivering professional speed & quality hosting services.

    Our process for selecting, evaluating and ranking web hosting companies and their offers includes:

        Reputation. We have reviewed all well known web hosting companies as well as the ones suggested by our users. Please use our feedback form to submit your own suggestions.
        Popularity. We have reviewed all the web hosting companies frequently used by b2evolution powered sites.
        Speed. For our web hosting reviews, we set up private test sites in order to verify the specs beyond the ads. In many instances we also have public hosting test sites (you'll find them in each review), where you can also check for yourself how responsive the host is while browsing through a typical modern blog/CMS site.
        Reliability & uptime. No host is really 99.99% perfect here. However, all hosts rated 4 stars or more are in the top performers regarding uptime.
        Features. Many hosts are loaded with features you don't need. In other cases you may need something very specific or advanced that only a few hosts will offer (SSH access for example). All hosts on this page have the standard features you expect from a modern web hosting company: PHP, Perl, MySQL, control panel and email, all that on your own domain, of course.
        Support. This is tricky to evaluate. Because the quality of support sometimes varies from one support representative to the next, we kindly ask you to share your experience in the comments section for your host. Unfortunately this also attracts fake comments (sometimes from competitors, sometimes from the hosts themselves). We try to moderate but we reckon this is not 100% failsafe.

    A note about Price: we constantly try to find the best coupons or to secure special deals with hosting companies in order to bring you the best prices for each of these hosting offers. Sometimes, however, those prices are valid for a limited time only and it may happen that the promo has expired when you try to take advantage of it.
