Google crawls banned sites

I had a site banned that I have no clue why. I submitted a google site map and my site still has been getting crawled. I mean it gets crawled a nice amount. What does that possibly mean? Google put a temporary ban on my site? Its weird too, my site is such plain html I dont see what I possible could have done.

Google never crawls banned websites and it never ban a site temporarily. It re-crawls only when it is re-submitted to the search engine.
