Hello,

am using content from other websites which are in English. I then use deepl.com to translate it to my language. After that I will use Plagiarism Checker from smallseotools.com to check whether this text exist somewhere else. If not, I will use it on my website. Can this be bad in terms of SEO ?

P.S I know that machine translation (using Google translate tool) will hurt SEO but Deepl.com is quite good actually: the text makes sense after being translated.

Hello,

"Yes, Using Google Translate or another machine translation engine is absolutely plagiarism. Translating a text from one language to another requires work, mental energy, and one is relying on an algorithm to do it (rather than doing it oneself). ... In other words, classic plagiarism."

If you are using Plagiarism Checker X then yes, it will be able to detect plagiarism text translated from 30+ languages . These include  Hebrew, English, Spanish, Hindi, Russian, Portuguese, Arabic, Urdu, French and many more.
