Keywords separated by commas

Hi there

While everyone is fretting about the pagerank toolbar I'm doing some work on my website, after all my pagerank was 0 cos i'm quite new anyway...

I just wanted to know something quite trivial. Does it matter if keywords in the keyword meta tag are separated by commas? What i mean is that if they aren't, if you have lets say 10 different kewords would they be better at ranking for any combination of them instead of having specific words or phrases separated by commas?

Also does it work against you if you change your keywords? And even the page title tag? Does google penalise for this?

After finishing my site and submitting it to the main SE's (first mistake!) i made quite a few other mistakes before i went and did some research on these forums which I'm now trying to recify...I found it amazing (and frustrating) how after many years of considering myself a good web designer / developer i was so out of touch with seo!

Search engine not even give importance for Meta keyword tag. So its better to avoid placing keywords on those tags.
