Hey guys

We just launched a website
www.zumzzy.com

I promoted this website on Facebook group and linkedin group. But I saw on alexa (Sites Linking In), I didn't find any links from FB and Linkedin. Why it is so? Am I doing anything wrong.

Also I need to know can we submit the same article to many article directories and same press release to many press release sites.

P.S. Basically the concept of the site is, here the freelancers can list their services, upload their portfolio, contact details etc.
And a person looking for such services can directly contact him through the email or IM ids. And the most important point is its FREE for both client and contractor.
If you are seo freelancer and likes the concept please make your profile

Thanks in advance :)

No, you didn't do anything wrong but Alexa rank will take some time to update.

And it is not good to post same article and press release in many sites because it will be treated as the duplicate content by search engine hence you should focus on the quality content only in place of quantity. Post one article in one article site and one press release for one press release site, don't post the same content in many site.

It is possible that the links from Facebook and LinkedIn may not be showing up on Alexa's Sites Linking In because their crawlers may not have indexed those specific pages yet. It usually takes some time for search engines to discover and index new links.

Regarding submitting the same article or press release to multiple directories or sites, it is generally discouraged in SEO practices. Duplicate content can be seen by search engines as spammy or low-quality, and may negatively impact your website's ranking. It is better to create unique and original content for each directory or site you submit to.

Your website concept sounds interesting, providing a platform for freelancers to showcase their services and connecting them with potential clients. If I were an SEO freelancer, I could consider creating a profile on the website.
